● Nearly 1/3 of all candidates secured 10 or more grades at A* or A
● 13 candidates with 10 A* or better; 20 candidates with nine A* or better, 37 candidates had 10 or more grades at A or A*. Four candidates secured 11 A*.

“Norwich School really brought out the best in me. I had a really enjoyable time during my academic subjects. Doing Fine Art at Norwich School was a whole new experience. I also had opportunities to explore many sports, including rugby and hockey, which were great fun!”

(Peter achieved an A in Fine Art, an A in Maths and a B in Physics in his A Level examinations and is going to UCL to study Architecture).

Keith - from Hong Kong

“This school really challenged me and gave me lots of opportunities to excel. The homestay arrangement gave me the space I needed to concentrate on my work and, more importantly, to really further improve my English. I got so many opportunities to perform and entertain.”

(Keith achieved A*s in Economics, Maths and Further Maths in his A Level examinations and is going to read Mathematics at Cambridge).

Angela - from China

“At A-Level I combined the academic subjects I’m best at and most enjoyed with Art & Design. Design and Art are my real passion. Being able to mix subjects meant I worked hard in them all and did well. You can do it all at Norwich School. My homestay parents were wonderful, they really supported me well over the two years.”

(Angela gained an A* in Art & Design and an A in Fine Art and Maths in her A Level examinations and is going to study Fashion).

Vincy - from Hong Kong

“My host family gave me a very lovely second home in England. They were not only my host family but also my ‘parents’; they met my friends, came to my house events and took me to London. It is astonishing how easily and rapidly a relationship can form over two years and because of them I never felt homesick or lonely. For that I am very thankful and it is what I would expect for other students in the future. Norwich School has been a great place to finish my school education.”

(Vincy achieved an A* in Maths, an A in Chemistry and a B in Biology in her A Level examinations and went to Durham University to study Biomedical sciences).
